We currently offer Aluminum 6061 as our standard material. We have plans to expand our offerings to include Aluminum 5052 and 7075 in the near future.
Our current thickness options are limited to 2mm, 3mm, and 6mm. We plan to add 1mm, 1.5mm, and 8mm thicknesses soon.
These are default timelines for typical orders. Large orders over $1,000 may require extended lead times due to increased complexity or volume.
Standard shipping typically takes 3 to 5 days, depending on the destination and carrier. During our BETA phase, we offer delivery only within the United States.
For aluminum sheets in our available thicknesses (2mm to 6mm), we adhere to standard laser cutting tolerances based on industry norms like ISO 9013-1. Typical dimensional tolerances are ±0.2mm (±0.008 inches) for features such as edges, holes, and overall part dimensions. Hole diameter tolerances are generally in the range of ±0.15mm to ±0.25mm (±0.006 to ±0.010 inches), depending on material thickness and part complexity. For high-precision requirements, please contact us to discuss feasibility.
We recommend not oversizing holes in your designs, as this can lead to loose fits for fasteners, press-fits, or assemblies. Instead, design holes to nominal sizes or slightly undersized if tapping or reaming is planned post-cutting. Our process accounts for laser kerf (typically 0.1-0.3mm), so we can advise on adjustments during file review to ensure accuracy.
Yes, we provide bending services with a standard lead time of 2 days. However, to ensure feasibility and accuracy for your specific design, we recommend first sending your files to laser@swyftrobotics.com for review before placing an order.
